MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON

Dear parents,

Do we, perhaps without even ever realizing it, discourage our children from becoming leaders Because to be a leader is to be an iconoclast, to question the status quo, to march to the beat of a different drummer.

It's quite natural, therefore, for both parents and teachers, to see such activities as impediments to the process of learning, and expect children to conform. Often, without meaning to, and with all good intentions, the first lesson we teach them is to toe the line.

Instead, what if we make a conscious effort to encourage children to dream, to chase their dreams with passion What if we urge them to listen to the little voice inside their head A few such 'What ifs' sum up the philosophy and the thinking behind establishing Presidium.

Here, we work towards opening the minds of children, help them identify their interests and aspirations and nourish their individual talents. So that one day they become what they have the potential to be: the leaders of tomorrow.

But, in all honesty, we can not succeed in our endeavour to create visionaries without you - the child's parents. Without your support, participation and involvement in your child's progress, our joint vision will remain just a dream. We, the school and the parents, are equally responsible for the child's growth. It is vital that we interact often and keep our communication open. If we join hands, I firmly believe that we will see our shared vision become a reality in no time at all.

Together let's work towards producing more leaders.
